Municipal Trash Service
The City of Enterprise municipal trash collection service began operation in June of 2010.
The City Council has set the residential rate at $17.00 per month for trash cart service. The carts will be 96 gallon carts.
There is a tag service available for those that only generate a small amount of trash. The tags cost $2.00 per tag and may be placed on bags up to 40 gallon size. the bag may be placed at the curb to be picked up on collection days.
Billing
The billing for city trash service will be included on your monthly utility bill and will be due and payable the same as the other services provided by the city.
Collection Dates
Residences located on Factory Street and West of Factory will be collected on Tuesdays, those located East of Factory Street will be collected on Thursdays. Business and commercial accounts collection dates will be set on a case by case basis.
What you may place in your cart.
Normal household trash, small appliances that do not contain refrigerant such as toasters, microwaves and sweepers.
While the city encourages you to use our burn site for your yard waste, you may place yard waste in your cart as long as you can close the lid.
Additional bags or containers.
The city realizes that from time to time you may have additional items that will not fit in the cart. You may place up to two (2) additional bags with your cart. The bags must support the weight of items contained in the bags. Other items left not included above may incur additional collection fees.
Prohibited Items.
No Hazardous waste.
No paint or chemicals (empty paint cans accepted)
No tires
No concrete
No large metal (call and free pickup may be arranged).
No large limbs or wood, only what can fit in a closed cart.
